This privileged tour starts at 07:15am when you will meet your guide outside the Vatican Museums at a time when silence outside the Museums and the sun rises above Michelangelo’s Dome.

You skip the queues and skip the crowds that normally encircle the Vatican walls. As you enter the Bronze Doors of the Museum, you know that a delicious American style Breakfast has been prepared to be enjoyed in the suggestive Cortile della Pigna, outside in good whether or in the indoors wide spaces where a table will be booked for you.

Your historian guide specialised in the History of the Vatican and its famous rooms where Michelangelo and Raphael reign supreme, suggests that before breakfast you go straight to the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s masterpiece. Here only a few people may share with you the amazing Nudes in the Ceiling and the Universal Judgement, while on the surrounding walls the superb 15C frescoes of Botticelli, Perugino, Pinturicchio, Ghirlandaio etc, which preceded Michelangelo’s works, will be only a few steps in front of you.
