Stop At: Warnemünde Fähre, Am Passagierkai 1, 18119 Rostock, Germany

You can choose between a private and a semi-private tour.

The private tour includes a private vehicle just for your group for the entire duration of 12 hours and a private tour guide in Berlin for 6 hours.

The semi-private tour includes shared bus transportation to Berlin and back, but whilst in Berlin you will have your own private vehicle, driver and tour guide for the entire duration of the tour (approximately 5-6 hours).

Your time in Berlin will be spent the exact same way whether you choose the private or semi-private tour.

Stop At: Potsdamer Platz Tiegarten, 10785 Berlin Germany

The tour here begins at Potsdamer Platz in the architecturally magnificent Sony Center. You will meet your guide and be given an introduction to the city while getting your first taste of German beer at the Lindenbräu Brewery and snacking on the famous Curry Wurst.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Brandenburg Gate Museum, Pariser Platz 4a, 10117 Berlin Germany

Walk through the Brandenburg Gate.

Duration: 5 minutes

Pass By: Reichstag Building, Platz der Republik 1, 10557 Berlin Germany

See the impressive Parliament building.

Stop At: The Holocaust Memorial - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Near the Brandenburg Gate Information Center: Cora-Berliner-Straße 1, 10117 Berlin Germany

We will also visit the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.

Stop At: Topography of Terror, Niederkirchnerstraße 8, 10963 Berlin, Germany

Next up is a chance to see the original Berlin Wall as well as the Topography of Terror.

Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Checkpoint Charlie, Friedrichstr. 43-45, 10969 Berlin Germany

Another highlight of historical part of the tour is the famous Cold War crossing point known as Checkpoint Charlie.

The tour then continues on to Bebel Platz and afterwards to a Memorial at the former Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Stop At: Museum Island, Breite Street, 13089 Berlin Germany

A few hundred meters away is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known today as Museum Island. It is comprised of five of the capital’s most famous museums: the New Museum, the Old Museum, the Old National Gallery, the Pergamon and the Bode Museum.

After exploring the classic heart of Berlin we will stop at the Lemke Brewery for lunch and another sampling of German beers. Here you will enjoy a tasting of traditional German sausages and cheese as well as a sampling of six different locally brewed beers.

Stop At: Gendarmenmarkt, 10117 Berlin Germany

Our next destination is one of the city’s most beautiful squares - Gendarmenmarkt. At the famous Rauch Chocolatier you will be treated to their legendary hot chocolate and have an exquisite piece of cake to accompany it. The Rausch family first opened their shop in Berlin in 1918 and have since become world-famous for their amazing sculptures of city’s main landmarks made out of hundreds of pounds of solid chocolate.

Pass By: East Side Gallery, Muehlenstrasse 3-100 Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, 14167 Berlin Germany

The next stop will be the East Side Gallery, the most famous remaining stretch of the Berlin Wall. Artists from around the world have turned this section of the Wall into the “world’s longest open-air art gallery”.

Stop At: Kreuzberg, Berlin Germany

Afterwards we visit Kreuzberg, which is the hip party area of Berlin, with plenty of fantastic restaurants and market halls. We will get a burger at one of the local spots as well as have one last beer in one of the hippest new spots in the city before getting back on your vehicle to return to your ship.
