Blueberry Orchard and Winery Tour from Rotorua

Make your own way to the Mamaku Blue blueberry farm, around 25 minutes drive from Rotorua to begin your tour. 

Upon arrival at Mamaku Blue, hop aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned people carrier for a scenic tour of the orchard. Spend time discovering the history of Mamaku Blue and learn the steps involved in getting the blueberry from the bush to the market. After seeing the orchard, visit the sorting and packaging shed to learn more about the export berry market and experience first-hand what makes Mamaku Blue berries so special.

Stop by the wine-making department to meet the wine maker and learn about blueberry wines, then continue to the Mamuka Blue Shop and Café to taste a range of blueberry products including wines, liqueurs, and 100% blueberry juice. Your tour ends here, but you are free to stay as long as you like. Perhaps purchase some edible souvenirs to take away with you; tuck into a slice of hot blueberry pie or a blueberry muffin (own expense) from the cafe; or browse the small on-site museum.
