Te Puia is the centre for New Zealand Maori culture and geothermal wonders. You will encounter bubbling mud, pools of boiling water still used for cooking, and stunning geysers. The Pohutu geysers is the start of the show. You will learn of the Maori architecture tell their stories and displays their traditional Maori architecture, while viewing Heketanga-a-Rangi is an exciting contemporary structure. The part of Rotorua City Tour was really excellent. The living Geyser in this geothermal valley was an amazing experience. The bubbling and eruption of mud pool was a good experience. They gave adequate time to enjoy this great sight. But insight of Mouri culture and Kiwi Encounter as mentioned in the highlight was missing. Agrodome and it's live show was ok. But nothing great. The kids of course will enjoy this show a lot. Else the show for a long time was boring. I strongly feel that other than young people, no one should go to Hobbiton. It is just like a monument of old history where movie used to be shot in the past. It's quite a hilly and dry area. Walking for quite long in the uphill terrain under the scorching sun is extremely painful. And having taken all the trouble, you don't see anything great. I appreciate the on time pick up from the hotel.

This tour was great! The local knowledge imparted by Barry, and of course the cultural knowledge of the various guided tours was excellent! Hobbiton was a must see, and a great way to end the day.
The Hobbiton tour brings to life the LOTR and Hobbit movies. It feels like a hobbit should walk right down the lane.
