The caves tour was excellent, the glowworms were spectacular and well worth the visit. The Hobbiton Movie Set tour was outstanding leaving everyone wanting more... the cider at the Dragon Inn was awesome but would have like an extra 10 minutes or so to sit and relax and take it all in, otherwise the movie set was everything I expected and more! The first bus driver, Alan was exceptional making sure everyone all of us females was looked after and assured me that I would be taken to my hotel in Auckland on the return journey. However, the next bus driver told me not to worry but then changed his mind and drove straight passed the motel turn off and dropped me off in the city saying it would be easier for me to get a train or a bus back to the motel. He left me on the street in the middle of the city at 8pm at night with all my luggage and pointed to where the train station was at the end of the street. There was construction near the entrance of the train station so I didn't see it when I first walked passed and was wandering around for 20 minutes before I found it, then had to wait 20 minutes for the next train to my destination... It took me 2 hours to get to my motel by train so what was a fantastic day ended in a nightmare!
