About this activity
You will head to a Lappish forest 20 km away from the city centre, where the traditional firewood sauna and a hot tub awaits you. Mild heat lets you unwind in the warm wooden interior, making you unleash from the tension of the day. Cooling down in a Finnish way is to dip in the lake or throw yourself into the powdery snow, which makes you feel even more better as you go back in the warm, steaming sauna. For more unique experience, try a sauna built with ice!
You can also lie in the outside hot tub, where you may look above the sky to hunt for the magical Northern lights. After the sauna, continue searching for the dancing lights in the frozen lake, while serving yourself with hot drinks and gingerbread by the fire.
