Your excursion starts with pick-up from your hotel or apartments and transport to lovely Sierijärvi reindeer farm. Roat takes approximetaly 25 minutes.
Welcome to Sierijärvi Reindeer farm! Residents and farmers of this place are engaged in reindeer breeding for last 400+ years.
Following a detailed introduction to reindeer life, you will have a unique opportunity to pass a test and obtain your special reindeer sleigh "driving licence" without any age restrictions. Take a seat in the sleigh and you are off.
Meet the local people, see and feel the real Lappish way of life. There are many great possibilities for taking photos during tour in the farm, you can feed the reindeers with their favourite snacks. You will learn and feel how to drive a reindeer at our 400 meters short driving track. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of countryside!Warm drinks with a pastry are served indoors of the farm, while you listen to interesting stories about reindeer herding and wilderness life in Lapland. The reindeer farm is located only 15-km away from Rovaniemi city center.
