Visit to Genuine Local Reindeer Farm

Visit the local reindeer farm where you meet the young owners Ari and Sampo who are introducing to you the local life of reindeer herders. Reindeers are semi-domesticated, and every animal you see in the nature is owned by a herder. In Northern Lapland, reindeer husbandry is still a major source of income for many. There are about 200 000 reindeers in Finland and about 6 500 reindeer owners in Lapland.

You can see and feed the animals while listening to their incredible stories. These activities offer great possibilities of taking photos and experiencing authentic wilderness life.
