Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru

We will travel in the morning of Cusco, with pick-up at your hotel and transfer from the city center to your train station. The departure location and travel experience will depend on the seat option you have selected. Guests can choose between the Expedition train, which has luxurious chairs, tables and panoramic windows, the Vistadome, with glass on all sides for better viewing. Then enjoy a panoramic train ride, which offers breathtaking views of the mountainous terrain that makes up the area near Machu Picchu. Arrive in Machupicchu village known today as well, the small town located at the base of this famous Inca site, and take a bus for the short trip to this sacred citadel, many believe that Machu Picchu is a key center of spiritual energy. Follow your guide through the main streets of this marvel of ancient engineering. Learn about the history and design of the site as it meanders through the city square, key religious sites, an elaborate network of agricultural terraces and intricately designed stone staircases. After spending a few hours on the site, you will return by bus to the train station in Aguas Calientes and then to your chosen train for the return trip to Cusco.
