Day 1: Gorbeia Sea of Meadows Hiking and Live- Vegan dinner door to door experience.

After checking in Sasibil Rural Studio at Ulle Gorri farmhouse, we will provide you with all the details to enjoy a 2 days at Urkabustaiz, in the heart of the Basque Mountains. Hiking paths with Nordic walking option canes, Raw Vegan meals and other gastronomic experiences close to the farm.

On your first day, and depending on your arrival time, we will suggest you to take a beautiful and easy hiking path to discover Gorbeia Sea of Meadows, from Ulle Gorri. Visiting the pretty village of Untza and Arrastaria Valley magnificent views from the mountain profile.

Day 2: Wolves hiking path to Nervion Fall and Orduña Old City. Live- Vegan breakfast & dinner door to door experience

With our boots on you could start a hiking route, Nordic walking option, to discover the Path of the Wolves and Nervion source.

This is an “off the beaten path” route that runs at the edge of the sierra through spectacular landscapes.

Following the course of the canyon , you will finally arrive to the impressive Nervión Fall. After heavy rains or during the thaw, the waterfall, which plunges into the Delika Canyon from more than 220 meters, the highest in Spain, is very impressive. And even though during several months it does not carry water, the route and landscapes are just as spectacular. You will be impressed by the flight of the tawny vultures gliding below your heads or at a the sight height.

After crossing the river source, you could walk around Mount Santiago, a beautiful rocky paved forest, a landscape of dreams, and follow the path to discover old wolfhounds and continue along the sierra profile.

Depending on your interests, you can take a beautiful hiking route to a local restaurant ,where you can enjoy the famous " Alubias con sus sacramentos", (Beans) a mountaineers meal after a nice hike. Or you can continue your way along the Sierra paths, and Izar Gorria can prepare a raw vegan take away meal .

After your lunch , you can take a walk around Orduña Old City. In the Valley of Arrastaria, with the Virgin of Orduña watching from her high throne, is located the old city of Urduña / Orduña, the only city in all of the Bizkaian territory that holds such title and it´s only 10 km away from Ulle Gorri country house.

Orduña, located in a place of singular beauty, is a crossroads, the dividing line of Cantabrian – Mediterranean waters and the step from the Castilian plateau that descend towards the Cantabrian valleys. A strategic position that has allowed it to witness the changes and the evolution of history..

Day 3: Hiking paths from Ulle Gorri to Gujuli Waterfall / San Pedro Civil Trenches. Live- Vegan breakfast.

On your last day, we suggest you to take one of the fantastic paths selected only for our guests, to admire the natural environment. Gujuli Waterfall, Civil War Trenches at San Pedro.

We could book for you an amazing restaurant, with chefs trained at The Basque Culinary Center, the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences at the Basque Country.
