This 2 day tour is a must for a good overview of St.Peterburg . Oksana, our guide and Oleg, the driver ,were fabulous. At the end of the tour we were on overload. So much to see. There was no issue with visas and return to the cruise ship was timely.

it was a comprehensive 2-day tour of saint petersburg. we had a very good tour guide (Anastasia) for this time. she is simply amazing! the driver as well (Vladmir) he was trying his best to drop us off as close as possible to every visited spot we could not have seen so so much if we attended a different tour. on each day we were served very nice russian lunches in good restaurants my advice book this tour for your saint petersburg vacation.

Alilna Popova was an awesome guide. So knowledgeable and led our group with so much warmth and professionalism. She was great in making sure we were all together, and warning us about the areas we were in that were known for pickpockets. Her knowledge of the history of the buildings, country made for an outstanding tour.

It was a very pleasant visit to St. Petersburg. The Faberge Museum and Boat Cruise were nice but we liked the Hermitage Museum much better, even though it was very crowded. Anna our tour guide is very funny, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Thank you Anna

We stopped here on our cruise for 2 days and tour was 2 full days. City Break Tours will email your tickets through Viator (in addition to your Viator voucher). You MUST have City Break Tour ticket and passport and ship key to pass Russian customs (NO VISA required) and had no issues. We easily found our guide in terminal after customs. Our guide Lisa was so amazing she had so much historical knowledge and even got to go to Hermitage Museum on a day it was closed, so we did not have to wait in rain and fight crowds like other tour groups. We took an air conditioned van with a group of 15 people. It is a lot of walking. We were unable to get into Catherine's Palace due to limited allowable tickets, but had so much to see I couldn't imagine doing that too. Tour included canal boat tour too. Peterof Palace was amazing. Don't miss the Hermitage and Peterof Palace. Learn a little history of Peter the Great and Catherine prior to going.

please dont consider the cruise ship offers while you have option to book such perfect trip and save the budget. I was expecting a good tour after reading some reviews and what was delivered was more than what i imagined. Katya was knowledgeable friendly and flexible and understanding the needs of every group member. we had a big experience with her in such short time. the number of group members was so small via the big count in the big buses from the cruise. i really felt that i got to know the city in these 2 days as if i stayed for longer.. other point that wasnt expected is that the metro stations are truly so nice and i felt like a local on this short metro ride. nice memories for a long time.

Anna was excellent we couldn’t have asked for a better guide and tour. They managed the marathon and it’s street closures.

We had Marina as our tour guide and she met us in the port. It was easy to find her with a sign City Break Tours as I was afraid to not reach the guide easy after the disembarkation. The guide story telling was all very respectful and felt like you are a local. On both days we tried tasty Russian meals and the restaurants were very nice with a cozy decoration. The palaces of St Petersburg are just amazing! The tour included the most great attractions in the city. The company served us raincoats when it was rainy and it was nice from them. Definitely recommend this tour to the cruise passengers who come by cruise to St Petersburg, Russia.

This tour by City Break is your best choice for a shore excursion in St Petersburg and Katerina is the guide to ask for. Splendid city sights, excellent information from the guide and professional driver skills from Vladimir. St Petersburg was the most desired city on my Baltic trip and it turned out to be even more splendid than expected. We saw the beautiful collection of the Faberge eggs. Terrific!

This booking through Viator, was organised via City Break Tours. Overall an excellent experience. We were met off our cruise ship and taken to a small bus along with 12 other passengers. Our tour guide, Anna, was exceptionally knowledgable and over the two days of the tour gave us a very well rounded visit.

This tour took us to the most interesting museums of the city by a clean and comfortable minibus. We visited the Hermitage, Peterhof fountains, Catherine Palace, saw the beautiful Faberge Eggs, the churches, and more. The guide was leading the group to the best view points and always kept us entertained so we never felt bored. During the boat cruise we were offered juice and cupcakes as a snack which was very nice! St. Petersburg is an amazing city to visit and if we are to go back to Russia - we will choose City Break again!

I wish we could have stayed in Saint Petersburg at least for a week as it has appeared to be such a wealth of amazing sights, historical monuments and museums. Our guide managed to make our shore excursion interesting at all times telling us the stories and peculiar facts. You will not be mistaken by choosing this tour. It was a truly wonderful experience.

We were lucky to visit St Petersburg in October when the museums were not so crowded already but the weather was still good. Our guide Julia was very nice and helpful throughout the tour, trying to meet our needs and wishes. Our group was only 6 persons so we were able to have the full attention of the guide and get answers on all our questions which were many. The itinerary was very complex and even thanks to being in a small group we managed to squeeze a visit to Nikolsky Cathedral which was not included in the program. St Petersburg is a wonderful city and we covered much ground walking and by bus. The driver was also very polite and helpful; the minibus was modern and clean. We had water, juice and a chocolate bar complimentary on the tour every day. I can't imagine this 2-day tour to be better than what it was. Don't hesitate to choose this tour if you want to have great time in St Petersburg

St. Petersburg has been on my bucket list for years. finally made it. wonderful tour through City Break Tours with Anna as guide and Icor the driver. Super lunches at very nice restaurants on both days crowds of visitors palaces of gold and inlay floors - such excesses and opulence. no wonder there was a revolution.

Much better than the cruise tours. Don't waste your money for overpriced excursions offered by the cruise company. On this tour we covered all the main sights of the city and the suburbs offered in the program, visited subway, tried some traditional food and all that in a small group. So much better than a bus full of people. Thanks to our guide Irine we learnt much about St Petersburg and Russia in general. The weather was not delightful but there were raincoats prepared for us by the company and even a coffee stop included upon our request to warm us up. Most of the museums were overcrowded but the tour guide did the best to get our small party through the crowds and still see the highlights of each place we visited. Note that you need comfortable shoes to walk all those miles in the museums and outside. Another advice to the fellow travelers is to get off the ship as early as possible upon arrival to get through the custom control. The small piece of paper provided by local operator is all what's needed to pass the control. Thanks Irine and City Break Tours. We will definitelly choose a tour with them again.

We booked this tour short beforehand but everything went great. I had taked with the operator on the phone to ask some questions and only after realized it was night time in Russia... On the day of the trip, due to the lines on the control we were a litlle late for the starting time but found the guide waiting for us despite our fears. Ksenia was trully amazing, her English skills were the top level and her deep knowledge of history and fun facts was amuzing. In these 2 days in St Petersburg we saw everything that was possible the Hermitage, the cathedrals, the Park of Peterhof and Catherine Palace which was incredible. The Faberge museum is just astonishing and highly recommended. The bus we had was clean and the driver always tried to park the closest to the entrances to make it easier for the group. We had Russian borsch soup, pies and beef stroganoff, coffee and deserts were also included so we did not have to pay any extras in the restaurant. Also, the guide gave us packed juice and buscuits during the boat ride that was very nice. All in all amazing service and great value for money. Thank you! Greetings from California, April and Elliot
