Day 2: Day 2 (8 hours):

After, we are going to visit the suburban gem of Saint Petersburg – the famous fountain park and the Grand Palace of Peterhof. On our way to this amazing place, we will take a short metro ride to see the most beautiful subway stations.

The first excursion of the day is to the Hermitage Museum, a symbol of St Petersburg and a unique museum by the quantity and diversity of the presented art objects. The guide will lead you through the spectacular state rooms of the Winter Palace, the former residence of Russian Tsars. You are going to see works from great masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Caravaggio, El Greco, Velasquez, Rubens and Rembrandt.

Visit the Yusupov Palace which once belonged to one of the richest noble families in Russian history. This magnificent classical palace was the site of the murder of the famous Rasputin, a mysterious Siberian healer, whose visionary arts were entrusted to the family of the last Tsar Nicholas II.
