Day 1: Day 1: City overview and Peter & Paul Fortress (from 10:00 till 13:00)

Stop At: Peter and Paul Fortress, Petropavlovskaya Fortress, 3, St. Petersburg 197022 Russia
Enjoy a city tour by car or van and a small walking tour of the Peter & Paul Fortress. This is the oldest construction in the city, originally built to act as a fortification but later used as a political prison. It has witnessed many of the dramatic changes in Russian history. Visit the Peter & Paul Cathedral, a unique example of 18th-century Russian architecture. For nearly 2 centuries it served as the burial place for Russia’s emperors. Nicholas II, the last Russian tsar and his family were interred in the cathedral's small St. Catherine chapel in 1998.

Explore Peterhof, the most spectacular Imperial estate in Saint Petersburg. Situated at the edge of the sea, the Grand Palace’s park complex boasts a unique array of fountains, considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. The Grand Palace features elaborate interiors, and sits atop a high ridge overlooking the vast lower park.

Day 3: Day 3: Hermitage Museum Walking Tour and Boat Trip (from 10:00 till 14:00)

Visit the famed Hermitage Museum, the finest gallery of world art in Russia. The Hermitage is undoubtedly the main attraction of Saint Petersburg. In addition, it boasts a unique collection of works by Rembrandt, Rubens, the French Impressionists, and hundreds of the world’s greatest artists.

Visit St. Isaac's, the city’s largest and most significant Russian Orthodox Cathedral. Built in 1858 by the architect Montferrand, the cathedral is now a museum. Its richly adorned interior is lined with marble, and features malachite and lazurite columns. It was intended to accommodate as many as 10,000 worshipers. The observation platform at the foot of the dome commands a fine view over Saint Petersburg and its surroundings.
