During the City tour we'll take a Metro (subway) ride and see several of the most beautiful stations. You will be amazed by the St. Petersburg Metro – it is like no other subway in the world because the stations were built by the Communists as a monument to the people - spectacular, splendid and over the top ornate.

10.30-11.30 - Drive to Tsarskoye Selo (Tsar’s Village) to see Catherine Palace

11.30-13.00 - Inside tour of Catherine Palace (Amber room)

Tsarskoye Selo or Tsar's Village is a famous summer residence of Russian royalty. The crown jewel of this residence is the fantastic Catherine Palace, believed by some to house the eighth wonder of the world - the world famous Amber room bedecked with jewels of golden Russian amber. Catherine Palace is an unforgettable experience.

13.00-14.00 - Drive to Peterhof

14.00-15.00 - break for lunch (can be shorter)

15.00-16.30 - Walk in the Upper and Lower Parks of Peterhof

16.30-17.00 - Travel back to the city by hydrofoil

You will travel to the amazing "Russian Versailles" - Peterhof - the spectacular park on the banks of the Gulf of Finland, replete with fountains, flower gardens, palaces and sculptures. It is a fascinating and grand place to see and relax in.

St. Isaac’s is an incomparable church, famous for its huge one-piece granite columns each weighing more than 100 tons! It is also the fourth tallest domed cathedral in the world.
