Peterhof Palace half day trip from Saint Petersburg
If you visit St. Petersburg for more than one day, you must visit the magnificent Peterhof Palace, the summer residence of the Russian Tsars, located about 30 km far from St. Petersburg on the Baltic Sea.
During the drive, you will learn the history of the palace's foundation and interesting details associated with the vicinity of St. Petersburg. Next, go down to the Baltic Sea, to admire this panorama, where you will will see the palace where Peter I lived with his family while using the Grand Palace for festivities and official meetings. The Russian Tsar preferred to live simply, but always near the sea.
