Shore Excursion: Hanseatic Rostock & Schwerin Join-in Tour

Meeting time: 08:15 am 

For ships docking at 09:30 am, tour departure is 

10:00 am

This tour is offered for Warnemuende arrivals only (P1-2, P7, P8) and cannot be provided for clients docking in Rostock port (i.e. LP31, LP41)

08:15 Meet your guide by the ship at pier and walk to train station, take train to Rostock.

09:07 Upon arrival to Rostock transfer onto train to Schwerin

10:04 Arrive in 

Schwerin. Guided walk of Schwerin including old town with market square, cathedral, government buildings (federal state government), former residences of the Duke of Mecklenburg, villas around Pfaffenteich, palace gardens etc.

11:15 Inside visit to 

Schwerin castle without a guided tour 

(Closed on Monday. Viewing from outside only)

12:15 Lunch at a local cafe 

(main course and a drink included in tour price)

13:00 Leisure time

13:53 Train to 

Rostock

15:00 Arrive in Rostock and enjoy a guided tour of the city including town hall, boulevard, university, town wall& gates, monastery, merchant’s homes. Inside visit to 

St. Marien Church including astronomical clock and baroque organ

16:45Free time for a stroll/shopping or further sightseeing

17:30 Return to Warnemuende by train/tram

18:00 Return back to the ship
