About this activity

Meet your guide at the the ship at 7pm and be driven to a modern residential area. Your guide will tell all about modern life of the locals, city development, daily routine of a Russian family and will answer all your questions. This is the panoramic portion of the tour through the city where you will see some Soviet era buildings that were first designed as a temporary residential space but are still in use. You will also see very modern and expensive areas of the city, learn where the Russian elite lives and what the big gap is between high and low social classes.

Arrive at the family's home at around 8pm for a visit and have a typical Russian family dinner. You will learn about family traditions, their lifestyle, see the way locals live and talk about all the aspects of life in Russia.

Your guide will have you back at the ship at around 10:30pm.
