About this activity
Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to you host's place located in the nearest suburbs of Saint Petersburg. The drive will take approximately 1 hour (depending on the location of your hotel and overall traffic) so you will be able to relax.
You will drive along the so-called Road of Life, along which trucks evacuated people from the besieged Leningrad during the WWII. You will pass the Flower of Life Memorial, dedicated to all children who lived (and died) during the war, and it will be possible to make a photo stop by the memorial on your way back to the city after dinner.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your host (who speaks very good English), escorted to the house and shown around. You will see how a multi-generation family lives in Russia, get to meet some of the family members (who are at home at the time of your visit).

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with a lovely Russian family! The food was all authentic and very good! We loved meeting the different generations living in a nice new home. Everyone was welcoming and they were nice enough to consider my food sensitivities when preparing our dinner. It was a great experience!
A wonderful way to meet and enjoy spending time with a local family in their own home. Our hostess was charming, speaks perfect English, and prepared a great meal suitable for our group which ranged in age from 8-84! An added bonus was that the children in the family were in the same age range as ours and before we knew it they were all playing outside in the yard!
