Your private 7-hour tour begins with a pickup from the lobby of your St. Petersburg hotel. A private guide will accompany you for the full duration of your explorations, and you will be provided with complimentary city maps, bottles of water, rain coats (in case of rain), and farewell gifts.
Settle inside your private, air-conditioned vehicle and travel 15 miles (24 kilometers) south of the city to the town of Pushkin, also known as Tsarskoye Selo, which means ‘royal village’ in Russian.
On arrival, visit the magnificent baroque Catherine Palace, a grand residence presented as a gift to Russia’s Empress Catherine I by her husband, Peter the Great, in 1708. - Lunch time is not planned on this tour but usually it is possible to have 20-minutes to grab something on-the-go
- The exact entrance times can vary. Pre-booked time periods to enter the museums are assigned only by the management of the museums and is a subject to changes. It is possible that there will be a line of people entering the museum at the same time.
- This tour is not recommended for wheelchair passengers, and if a person with a wheelchair decides to participate he/she must have a personal helper to assist in boarding/disembarking the vehicle, and entering the restrooms and restaurant, and all sites. At certain locations a wheelchair person may not be able to exit the bus, and may have to stay inside the bus.

We booked a full day trip to Catherine Palace and Peterhof for out break in St Petersburg. Our experience did not fail to impress! Unfortunately we got our dates confused. We believed we had booked Thursday and were at our hotel planning our Wednesday with the concierge. After a leisurely breakfast the Viator official arrived looking for our group of three!!! Massive mistake on our part but the Viator staff came looking for us even though I realised later that I had at least 3 missed calls from them . They made a huge effort to ensure we did not miss our fabulous day. So very much appreciated keeping in mind we had prepaid and WE were the ones at fault Our guide Sophia was fantastic! With her fab knowledge and easy, friendly nature she took us through the unmissable Catherine Palace sharing the history and splendor of this royal residence. Then we were whisked off to Peterhof where we were escorted expertly through the beautiful palace and breathtaking fountains. The manicured gardens were awesome. Sophia certainly knew her stuff. On our way back to St P she even coaxed our driver to stop at a little known souvenir shop where the little mementos sold at a fraction of the price than in the centre of this wonderful city. I cannot recommend this trip and company enough and thanks so much Sophia! :-

Our driver was friendly and polite and drove us everywhere in a spotless, modern car. When you see the lines at Catherine's Palace and Peterhof, you will be so glad you are on the tour and can walk right in. Catherine made sure we were well-positioned to view all the splendors of these magnificent palaces and ensured we spent plenty of time at the fountains and gardens at Peterhof. It was a real treat to see both palaces in one day without ever feleling rushed. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour from start to finish. Comfortable transport with driver and excellent tour guide who told us plenty about St petersburg and Russian history in excellent English. Highlight of our trip to St. Petersburg!
Our tour guide Lina arrived on time and provided us with a very informative commentary on route. During the tour of both palace's, she gave us very good insight into the lifestyle at the time of the Romanov era. Our driver Alexi was a great driver and was always considerate. Highly recommended.
