This small but extremely moving museum commemorates the most harrowing period of the city's history - the Blockade of Leningrad which lasted from 8 September 1941 to 17 January 1944. A memorial museum was established around the current site immediately after the end of the blockade.
Russian history was undoubtedly the siege of Leningrad and one of the darkest periods between September 8, 1941 - January 18, 1944.
