We booked a 2 day tour from Viatour because it offered longer days and more sites than the cruise line offerings. Our guide Eugene was fantastic- a university History major- he was so knowledgeable about Russian history, culture and the sites. His English was flawless as well as his knowledge of American culture and history. It made our tours and discussions that much better. He also handled skipping the line, acquiring tickets, providing fast lunches - everything- seamlessly. I would highly recommend him again!

I would highly recommend this tour. We were cruising with NCL. Our travel agent told us it was mandatory to book an excursion thru NCL because of the visa issue. I emailed this company and the owner, Eugene, got back to me right away. He sent me his license to provide tours with temporary visas. That personal touch reassured me. We saw twice as much as any ship tour for one third the price. Elena, our guide was amazing. An art history major! Eugene also met us for a very good traditional Russian lunch both days. By the end of the two days my husband and I felt we had made three new friends. (our driver, Andrew, too) Choosing any other 2 day tour of St. Petersburg would be a mistake.

I have never written a review before but had such an outstanding tour with Travel Family Excursions and Tours. It is the best company for anyone that is looking for a tour of St. Petersburg. Our guide Elena and driver Dimitri were excellent! With two days in St. Petersburg, we wanted to see all the sites and we could not have been more satisfied with our tour. Elena has a wealth of knowledge of all the sites and used our time in port to the fullest to insure we learned and experienced her culture. A traditional lunch at a local restaurant was provided each day and we enjoyed eating and learning about the typical foods for the country. With Elena's art background, she was able to guide us through the museums and point out interesting facts. Dimitri, the driver, was always ready to pick us up and take us to the next site, whether it be the subway, hydrofoil boat, canal boat, museums, or parks. We highly recommend this tour to anyone going to St. Petersburg. We talked to other people on the Regal Princess and they were amazed at what a great tour we had and all the places we were able to see in the two days. Eugene the owner of the company even met us for lunch the last day and met us at the port when it was time to board the ship! Such excellent service and we are so glad we booked our tour with Travel Family Excursions and Tour! Use them! You will not be disappointed !!!!
