DAY 1
9 am Meet your guide in the port terminal right after the passport control.
After meeting with your guide and driver (pick up) at the seaport, begin with the driven city tour with photo stops.
The State Hermitage museum visit, which ranks among the 4 largest museums in the world, such as Louvre, National Gallery and Metropolitan Museum. Over 3 million items are here on display; so, to stand in front of arch one just for a minute would take you 16 years… The guide will show you the most famous and tremendous rooms and the main gems of our art collection.
Afterward, visit the Church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood, which was designed as the monument to assassinated tsar Alexander II and, moreover, became one of the most beautiful and famous examples of traditional Russian architecture and art like stone carving and mosaics (there are more, than 7 000 m2 covered with mosaics here). The church is situated in the artists’ district, where you can have a lovely optional lunch and taste some Russian food.
Complete your city tour with a visit to the St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the fourth largest one in the world. It is famous of its colossal golden dome, gigantic granite columns and dramatic history.
4 pm return to your ship.
DAY 2
9 am meet your guide.
After pick up from the seaport, drive some 30 km away from the city, observing the old imperial road and some "Soviet" industrial suburban’s, modern rural and resort areas, some memorials to WWII, etc.
Then enjoy guided walk at the landscape fountain park of Peterhof, where 176 fountains are located on 112 hectares. Completely destroyed by Nazi in WW2, it raised from the ash like the phoenix bird to open its doors for you.
Have a nice optional lunch in a cozy local café or a sandwich break in the historic park. Afterwards drive to the small town of Pushkin, also known like the Tzars’ Village, the imperial residence aria of Russian monarchs.
Visit there the Catherine's palace with the 1000 feet long baroque facade and the Amber Room (almost totally covered with 12 types of amber) that is considered to be the 8th Wonder Of The World.
4 pm return back to the seaport, using the brand new rapid road with the highest peak, situated 43 m high from the sea surface.
**For your convenience, we can also invite a pusher to you. The pusher a special person who is strong enough to push you chair all-tour-round. He will also help you with hop-on an hop-off the van.
