About this activity
15-20 minutes prior to the departure time at 4:30pm, check in at the Salem Historical Tours office, located at 8 Central Street. You can check in anytime that day before your tour to receive your tickets. Then, meet your friendly and professional guide, who will show you and tell you about the incredible history of the Salem Witch Trials. Head into the streets of Salem to begin your 1-hour walking tour.

As you walk through the beautiful town, listen to your guide narrate the somber history of Salem. Visit the former sites of the First Church and the Town Well, learning fascinating facts and about their roles during the Witch Trials. Next, go to where the Salem Meetinghouse stood as you hear about the theories and personal stories of the accusers, victims, and clergy during the trials. Continue your tour at Prison Lane, where your exploration of the 17 months of betrayal and fear comes to an end.
