Day 1: Salento - arrival day

Stop At: Café Quindío, Cra. 6 #510, Salento, Quindío, Colombia
You’ll be collected from the Pereira Matecaña International Airport and take a wonderful drive through the beautiful; scenery to your waiting accommodation in Salento.

Day 2: Wax Palms, Salento and Coffee Tour

Stop At: Café Quindío, Cra. 6 #510, Salento, Quindío, Colombia
This morning you'll start your day with some beautiful views from the Salento Mirador (Lookout), and a look down into the valley you will soon venture through.

Next, you'll take a trip into the lush Cocora Valley and a guided tour of the Wax Palm Forest. This valley is spectacular by itself, but when combined with the forest filled with the tallest wax palms in the world, it becomes an almost spiritual experience. You'll get to spend a few hours walking through this peaceful zone with more beautiful views in every direction.

Next you’ll be taken to a coffee finca, and enjoy a full coffee tour explaining exactly how everything works, and a complete explanation of the entire process from seed to cup.

You’ll then be returned to Salento for a fantastic night in this location.

Day 3: Santa Rosa Thermal Hot Springs / Filandia

Stop At: Filandia Centro Artesanal, Calle 7 # 7-31, Filandia 634001 Colombia
Today will be a trip to the magical location of the Thermal Hot Springs of Santa Rosa. Surrounded by a tropical jungle you’ll walk through and soak up the mineral-rich waters in this amazing setting, along with wandering these beautiful grounds and exploring the unbelievable waterfall.

Following this amazingly relaxing excursion, you’ll be taken to the amazingly colorful town of Filandia. If you thought Salento was an exceptionally colorful town with wonderful architecture, you will absolutely love this place.

Day 4: Salento Free Day to Explore More / Airport drop-off

Stop At: Region Paisaje / Landscape Region, Calle 2a 4a 55, Salento 631020 Colombia
Your transport will be waiting to take you to the airport at anytime for the next part of your Colombian adventure, or if you have arranged for another night or more accommodation to explore more of the Zona Cafetera region (highly recommended and can be organized with us after booking), your transport will be waiting for another day.
