Capri and Blue Grotto Private Day Trip from Salerno

After purchasing your round-trip ferry/jetfoil tickets at Salerno Marina (at own expense) and boarding your 8:20am boat, meet your licensed guide at the ferry gate exit in Marina Grande Capri upon your arrival at 10:30am. After boarding your private convertible car, you will take the road to the Blue Grotto, through the winding 'Mamma Mia' road, overlooking the sea.

You can visit the inside of this magic cave, only if there is not high tide and the sea is not rough, as the entrance of the cave is just 1-meter/3-feet high. At the end of the visit, you will be driven up to Anacapri, where you will have the opportunity to admire a breath-taking view, catching the chairlift up to Mount Solaro (at own expense). Anacapri is very different from the rest of the island as it preserves its natural and rural beauty, with its lemon trees and narrow alleys and little boutiques. While here, you can have lunch (at own expense) in one of many Italian restaurants and enjoy the local cuisine.

After lunch and free time, you will be ready to reach 'La Piazzetta' - the famous square surrounded by cafés and boutiques. Take some time to stroll down the shopping area before arriving at your final stop of your tour, the Augustus Gardens. Admire the unique view of Faraglioni Rocks and Salerno’s bay.

At the end of the tour, you'll reach Marina Grande's ferry pier by Funicular, the cable car (at own expense), as you head toward the sea to take the Jetfoil back to Salerno arriving around 6:30pm.
