PAESTUM TOUR

The tour lasts eight hours. You can pick you up at your hotel, and taken back to the end of the tour. On this tour you can visit one of the city's most famous archaeological sites in Italy, as well as Paestum, whose archaeological remains intact, demonstrating how the architecture of Magna-Greece is still present in some areas of southern Italy. You can visit the four main gates of access;
The Porta Sirena, so called from a fantastic animal carved with apotropaic functions beyond it, which is located on the east side.
On the south side opens instead Porta Giustizia, with a large vestibule access, defended the sides by two towers, one round, one square.
The entrance to the west, the one that looks into the sea, was through at Porta Marina, also equipped with a large vestibule and defense paved the sides by two towers, one circular and one square.
