Itinerary
In this 3 hour class, you will be taken on the journey of a bladesmith by learning how to craft your very own knife using traditional blacksmithing tools (hammer, anvils, and forges). No prior experience is needed!!
1) We will begin the class with a fascinating intro to blacksmithing and the history of this beautiful trade.
2) Next, we quickly review some safety procedures. Safety First!
3) You will then have a hands-on experience of forging your own knife. Choose between a straight back or tanto blade profiles.
4) Each step will be demonstrated and help, and guidance will be offered every step of the way.

What else you should know
Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Closed toed shoes and long pants a must. Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated.
