Captain Valerie was awesome!!!!! She was very informative in a fun way and also took some pics of me and my hubby in lake so we can have some memories. I would definitely recommend this experience and would also recommend to bring a towel and suit so you can float in the lake. So happy we did! There are a lot of little flies as others comment but they are harmless and do not bother you .....they stay close to the sand. Never realized this is a bucket list item....but it is! Thanks for the great experience Captain Valerie :)

The guide was excellent. We learned a lot not only about the Salt Lake but about the history of the entire area with focus on the Mormons and how they settled there. the scenery was awesome. We had adequate time to get off the bus and "explore" the lake on our own.

He was very knowledgeable and fun. We're hoping we get him again on our SLC tour. Also, the lake was much prettier than I'd expected.

Thank God for your wonderful drivers....They were both great......Nothing to really see....When we got out of the van, nothing but flies...Smelly beach, hordes of flies and spiders to boot.....Very little to purchase in the stores......and why change drivers? This only makes tipping difficult and duplicates the information provided......Why not go to Antelope Island or is that also the same ?..I cannot recommend this tour to anyone....And I very much wanted to see the Great Salt Lake.....

Very interesting tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable. Made photo stops along the way. The whole trip was very relaxing I learned a lot about the history around Salt Lake City as well. We also had the opportunity to swim in the lake. And you really do float! Would recommend this trip for anyone interested in the history around the city.
