About this activity
Today we go to the deep inside Bahia and it's roots, with Ivan Bahia Travel Guide is for alternative day-tour inclusive cookery coarse a boat trip along the mangroves of the Paraguaçu-river.

As always we go off the beaten tracks, and go to Cachoeira and Coqueiros village in Bahia.

We drift back to the historical heritage of Bahia in a region which is situated in the Recôncavo Baiano area (a zone around the mighty Paraguaçu-river's).

You will be meeting inland Bahianos and see what they do for life, how they cope with modern Brazil, and discover how they evolved from a rich colonial era to the Brazil as it exists nowadays.

The top of this day is a cookery course to learn to make a seefood / fish moqueca.

A moqueca is a typical African inspired dish of Bahia.

This day also includes a boat trip from Cachoeira to the fishermen and artisan pottery village of Coqueiros.

One of our main arguments in this tour is that we adapt it to your interests (there is no competition for this at the local tourism scene).

If you want to discover this part of Brazil like you want it, and meet with locals then you absolutely have to book this tour.

You will enjoy this, guaranteed.

By the way, our air-conditioned car / van has Wi-Fi (wherever there is 3G or 4G coverage during the trip).
