Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Salzburger Altstadt, Salzburg, Austrian Alps

Meet your professional local guide and driver at your Salzburg hotel and hop on board of your luxury minivan. Afterward, your journey will take you on scenic route to the Obersalzberg Region. Dive deeper into the area's history with a visit to the Obersalzberg and the Berghof ruins. The Berghof, located at 3000 ft elevation, was Hitler’s former mountain residence at the Obersalzberg.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Hotel Zum Turken, Berchtesgaden, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria

The Hotel zum Tuerken was used by the Nazis and is very close to Hitler's Berghof. Today the Hotel zum Tuerken is private, if opened feel free to visit the Bunkers at the Tuerken - all original.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: The Eagle's Nest, Berchtesgaden, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria

From the Obersalzberg you will access the Eagle's Nest with special busses and elevator. You will have 2 hours at the Eagle's Nest. Take a stroll to the very close summit Kehlstein to overlook the picturesque Bavarian and Austrian Alps.
From April 1st 2019 until about May 10th 2019 (depends on the snow conditions of the year), the Eagle's Nest direct access road is closed, alternatively we offer to visit the Rossfeld summit instead. From this vantage point, soak in panoramic views of the stunning Austrian and Bavarian Alps and the nearby Eagle's Nest. Feel free to choose this option also when Eagle's Nest is opened if you prefer a much less crowded, more local site than the Eagle's Nest.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Erlebnisburg Hohenwerfen, Werfen, Austrian Alps

Castle of Werfen is one of the most magnificent mountain fortifications in the Alps and was also used in the “Where Eagle’s Dare” movie with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. It was the castle of Werfen which was used as Eagle’s Nest, not the original location at the Bavarian Alps. Enjoy some good Austrian lunch right at the castle before you will marvel at the bird-of-prey show conducted by historic State Falconers, mainly featuring native free-flying raptors!

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Gollinger Wasserfall, Golling an der Salzach, Austrian Alps

Returning at the Obersalzberg the drive goes on backroads to a hidden gem of the area, the natural wonder of Golling Waterfalls.

Duration: 30 minutes

Pass By: Salzburger Altstadt, Salzburg, Austrian Alps

After eight hours exploring the Eagle's Nest and the Where Eagle's Dare Castle of Werfen, your private tour will conclude with drop-off at your Salzburg City hotel or any other location in Salzburg.

Stop At: The Sound of Music Trail, Werfen, Austrian Alps

The Sound of Music meadow (Do-Re-Mi), at the hills above the village Werfen, is offering a stunning view over the Salzach river valley and the castle of Werfen.
Return to your Salzburg accommodation or city center of Salzburg at the end of the day.

Duration: 15 minutes
