Alenka was just exceptional. She was so informative and shared so many quirky facts with us on Salzburg and Hallstat. She was there to pick us promptly and was very accommodating, we had to take a couple of toilet breaks along the way as we were touring with a 9 year old and a 75 year old. The weather wasn't great, it was raining mostly but she more that made up for it with her pleasant company. We were lucky enough to get her for our 1 Salzburg tour later the same evening. Panaroma Tours are professional and their guide, Alenka is great. Thank you for a pleasant day in the Salzkammergut region.

The Austrian countryside is one of the most beautiful places on Earth - no question - and this tour did a great job highlighting that. The driver picked us up right on time and the Mercedes van was new and clean. The tour takes you through winding country roads, so be prepared in case your are someone who gets a little motion sick like me, where you will stop periodically for pictures and sightseeing moments. You'll continue to make your way down to Hallstatt, where you'll have some time to walk around and explore the many shops. Be mindful of how you spend your time, however, because it is limited and you'll want to see as much as you can. One thing I will note here is that the itinerary seemed to be a 'best case' scenario. The driver told us at the beginning of the trip that if we wanted to do the full itinerary the tour will likely take longer than the estimates 6 hours - for which he also mentioned that they would charge extra. We chose not to take him up on that mostly out of principle and a tight budget, so we were a little disappointing to hear this. But, if you want to visit Hallstatt and see the stunning countryside in a private and comfortable environment, this is an amazing option. Would do again!
