Start your bike journey at the Mozartplatz. Enjoy the ride through the Old Town along main sights such as the Residence Square, Salzburg Cathedral and the House of Mozart. Experience beautiful views over the Old Town from the Müllner Steg bridge, as well as over Mirabell Garden and Festung Hohensalzburg from Mirabell Castle.
After a picturesque ride along the river, cross the Salzach river to Nonntal and see the 8th century convent Nonnberg Abbey. Continue the bike tour to the Hellbrunn Palace. Along the way you can admire stately homes such as the impressive Freisaal Palace and Fronburg Palace. During a short stop in the park of Hellbrunn Palace you can refresh your feet in the Kneipp pool, marvel at modern art or simply enjoy the approximately 400-year-old complex with the beautiful palace and colorful flowers.
Ride through Salzburg’s residential districts to the Leopoldskron Palace. Today known as a hotel and popular film location, this 200-year-old estate has plenty of interesting stories to tell. On the way back to the city center, you will ride along the so-called Almkanal canal filled with turquoise water from the Königssee lake. Drive over a small hill and treat yourself to a last look on the Alps, the Untersberg mountain and find a spectacular view over the Old Town, Mirabell Garden and Kapuzinerberg.
