Be ready for pickup at 10.00 am at your Salzburg hotel. Make yourself comfortable in your comfortable touring vehicle and experience the beautiful landscape that the famous ‘Salzkammergut’ lake region has to offer. After a short drive from Salzburg you’ll reach the castle of Fuschl. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop, before heading on to St. Gilgen with Lake Wolfgang, the next photo stop.

The next highlight is Wolfgang Lake and the village St. Gilgen. See the town center of St. Gilgen including the birth place of Mozart's mother and the main town square with town hall.

After experiencing these spectacular view you can visit the Salt Mine, if you wish or just simply spend more time in Hallstatt. Wow what a great day this was! Manfred our tour guide was terrific he knew all the great spots to stop for pictures on our way to Hallstatt and then gave us great tips for sightseeing in Hallstatt which helped us avoid the crowds and not feel too rushed. Also when he heard our tour with another company to The Eagles Nest was cancelled for the next day he rearranged his schedule to take us on a tour of The Rossfeld scenic road in Bavaria with awesome views of the Alps and The Eagles Nest. And if that wasn't enough he made arrangements for lunch in Berchtesgaden at a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the Alps and town. These two days with Manfred were the highlight of our vacation! Greg
Richard did a wonderful job. Even though it rained most of the time, he escorted us around with an umbrella so we could get some good pictures. He also picked out a great, out of the way, restaurant for lunch. He worked hard at finding an excellent spot for me to take a picture of Hallstatt. It was definitely a pleasurable day and a fantastic tour.
