Afterward, your journey will take you along the Salzach river valley to the village Werfen and on to the Sound of Music Meadow where the beginning of Do-Re-Mi was filmed. The Sound of Music Meadow is a great view point, capture a stunning photo of Werfen Castle and the Tennengebirge Mountain Range.

From Werfen you will continue further South to Mauterndorf, the next highlight of this full day private tour, the medieval Mauterndorf Castle. Access to the Mauterndorf Castle isn’t included, but there’s ample of time for you to visit the medieval castle, if you wish.

Next is Lake Millstatt with the Monastery. Enjoy your time right at the lake and town of Millstatt where you will have time to have some lunch (own expense). The Lake Millstatt is known by locals for taking a swim or just simply enjoy a day at the lake, you will have plenty for a great time at the lake.
