About this activity
Our adventure begins at the moment of picking up our clients at one of the hotels in the Magical Town of San Cristóbal de las Casas; the Zapotal is located at only 60 minutes from here.
Our first resting point will be the viewpoint where we will take a small snack. This will be the point where the Specialized Guides will assemble the systems to carry out the rappel activity from a cascade approximately 30 meters high to submerge between the walls of a small canyon. From this point, after a break, we will undertake the return by the riverbed to our starting point. During our return, the adventure will continue since in some parts we will have to climb in a very basic way small waterfalls and jump big rocks.
After the visit we will continue to take a lunch near of Copoya Town, where is located the Glorious Christ of Chiapas also known as Cristo de Copoya is a modern monumental artistic work that stands on top of Mactumacza hill, in the ejido of Copoya, measuring 62 meters surpassing other works in the world such as the Christ the Redeemer of Brazil. It measures 30 meters.From here we will have the opportunity to observe the impressive views and learn a little more about this Zoque community. At the end we will continue back to our hotel in your corresponding location.
