About this activity
You will be picked up from your San Cristobal de las Casas hotel at 4:30am in the hotel from March to November or at 8am from November to February. You will head to the 'Sinkhole of Parrots' and rappel behind your guide into the darkness of a 459-foot-deep (140 meters) pit. When you are inside this place, you'll be amazed at the amazing Zoque paintings which are on the rock walls. You will also experience a subterranean world like no other.
Your adventure continues with a visit to "El Aguacero", which has about 740 stairs. You have to go downstairs way to the Aguacero river and will have time for lunch (not included). Your tour concludes back in San Cristobal de las Casas.
