39th Annual Beer Can Series on the sailing yacht America

Check-in at the Maritime Museum of San Diego at 1492 N. Harbor Drive no later than 5:15 PM. This activity includes general admission to the Maritime Museum of San Diego which opens at 9:00 AM.

Boarding starts at 5:15 PM and ends at 5:25 PM. America departs at 5:30 PM.

America will then be positioned for the best possible viewing adjacent to the starting line for the races which start at 6;00 PM. This will include expert narration from a professional sailor so guests will learn about the strategy and tactics of modern racing.

Immediately after the start then America will go sailing herself as we continue to view the race in progress. Sights will include Harbor Island, Shelter Island, North Island Naval Air Station and the Aircraft Carrier basin. And of course, exceptional views of downtown and the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier.

The trip includes two craft beers (for those 21 years old and over) and fresh pretzels. Guests may also bring any food or drink. Additional beer, wines and cocktails are available for purchase.

The trip will return to the Maritime Museum at 7:30 PM.
