Your jet boat adventure on San Diego Bay begins on the waterfront, near the USS Midway Museum. After checking in, receive a plastic poncho and ziplock bag to keep yourself and any personal items dry. Then step aboard the Patriot and set off into the bay.

With two turbo-charged, 1,400-horsepower engines, the red-white-and-blue Patriot is a high-powered ocean-going vessel that will zip and zoom you under the famous Coronado Bridge and around the bay. If the onboard music and the rushing wind in your hair don’t put you in a wild mood, the hold-on-tight 360-degree spins and speeds reaching 40 nautical mph (64 kph) surely will.

During your 30-minute tour, admire San Diego’s city skyline and waterfront attractions like the USS Midway aircraft carrier, Seaport Village, the Embarcadero and Coronado Island, and then return to the departure point. Before leaving, check out the souvenir photos and purchase any that you like.

Enjoyed every minute of the trip. A unique, fun way to see San Diego bay. Plastic ponchos are provided, but with the size of the waves that wash over the boat and the wind whipping past, they do little to keep you dry. Go on a warm sunny day, bring a waterproof camera and expect to get soaking wet and you will have a great time. Employees on the boat were all very nice, fun and professional. Definitely worth the price!

If you don't do anything else whilst in San Diego ride the Patriot. The jet boat ride is a real experience with great views of the USS Midway and the city. Bring your sun glasses to protect your eyes at high speed.

This tour was super fun, especially for the kids! It was a great way to see the SD Harbor. One tip, you get absolutely soaked! I thought we might get a little wet, but one of the main goals of the the boat driver is to get the whole boat completely soaked. Wear the poncho!!
