Basically the only reason to purchase this package is if you forgot to request Alcatraz tickets in advance on the official website and you don't mind paying a premium of about $60 per person. Ripley's is way overpriced for what it is and frankly we only did it because it was included but I would put the value of it at about $5-10 per person. If you had unlimited access to the laser maze it would be a little more worth it because that was kind of fun but disappointing that only one person at a time could do it and it was so short. Having to go pick up tickets 1-3 days early was also an inconvenience -- don't mind picking up tickets at Ripley but since our boat was at 12:30 p.m. we could have easily done it 30-60 minutes in advance and still had plenty of time to make the boat.
Bought tickets through this site b/c the Alcatraz site had appeared to have sold out. After spending 200 to get tickets to Alcatraz and Ripleys - which I didnt need, two days later I checked Alcatraz website and lots of tickets had opened up for 35! These tickets through Viator are expensive and very inconvenient. You need to pick up your tickets somewhere else and not on the day of. Keep checking Alcatraz site - dont waste your money!
