Alcatraz, experience the legendary island that has been a Civil War Fort, a military prison and one of the most notorious federal penitentiaries in US history. Your trip to Alcatraz will begin at Pier 33 home of Alcatraz Cruises. Your day tour ticket will include your boat transportation to and from the island, the new cell house audio tour and orientation film. Highlights of the audio tour include narration from former prisoners and correctional officers, accounts of escape attempts and tours through the prison mess hall, library, main cell block and solitary confinement.

Also enjoy a Sonoma and Napa wine tour, you'll visit a mix of three boutique and large-scale wineries for tastings and guided tours of the winery grounds. At each place, walk through beautiful vineyards; see how the grapes are picked, crushed, blended and bottled; and then sample the finished product in the tasting room. All tasting fees are included!

Please note: When booking, choose the date that you want to visit Alcatraz Island. For day 2, winery locations and itinerary may change due to traffic or a previously booked special event at the location.

This tour takes place over a two day period. The day booked is the day of your Alcatraz tour, the Wine Tour will take place the following day. Please allow for flexibility in your schedule for the first day of your tour.
Alcatraz reservations are first come first serve, all reservations are finalized (4) days prior to your departure date.
You must provide first and last names, along with ages of all passengers to confirm your reservation. If for any reason you do not provide this information within the window of time provided, your Alcatraz tour will be forfeited.
Date changes are not permitted once confirmation is received
Your Alcatraz vouchers / departure time will be available for pick up at (Pier 41, San Francisco, CA 94133) up to 72-hours prior to your departure date. You are required to pick up your vouchers no later than 8:00 AM PST on the day of your departure.
The Alcatraz portion usually takes 1.5 hours to complete, with its audio tour consisting of approximately 45 minutes. You are advised to inquire on your arrival to the island as to what time the next guided tour will begin. There is no restriction on the amount of time you spend on the Island. The ferry boat service departs Alcatraz every 30 minutes and you can disembark at your own leisure
Wheelchair accessible. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the bus on their own and if the wheelchair is collapsible. Please note, there is a Tram providing transportation for handicapped persons on Alcatraz Island
Minimum age for wine tasting is 21 years
