The tour was amazing and well worth it!! We started with a tea tasting and explored the history and foods of Chinatown! We got to sample a huge variety of foods, saw fortune cookies being made and viewed a lot of public art with amazing stories! In North Beach we discovered where the word fudge originated while sample amazing sweets! We ended people watching while sipping red wine and eating pizza! Truly received our money’s worth!! Plus, now we know how to navigate and order the best foods! Thank you for an amazing visit before headed to the Aids lifecycle!

Our guide Brian made us feel like he invited us into his home neighborhood to show us all his favorite places and tell us all about them. Good food, a sense of humor, and a little departure from the beaten tourist path made this the best of tour of our visit.

This is probably one of the greatest tours I've ever experienced. Brian was our tour guide and he is a man who knows his information about the personal side of San Fransisco. If you want some great food and learn about San Fran, then book this tour

I cannot stress to you how perfect this tour was! Brian our guide knew so much about Chinatown and North Beach. We visited tea houses, the fortune cookie factory, and several of places along the tour. His knowledge of the area and his relationship with the owners of the places that we visited made everything feel like meeting family. We did not get tired of walking and were definitely full at the end of the tour.

We had a great time on this tour with Brian. He was so enthusiastic about his city and the food. We covered so much. Food sampling was diverse, delicious and plentiful. None of the stops felt rushed . The tour wound up being much longer than the two hours..so just be mindful when booking if time is a factor.

Great evening. Ilene was knowledgeable and prepared It was raining cats and dogs and she came with extra umbrellas. The various foods that we sampled were great. As others have noted, there was lots of food. Ilene recommended that we pack up our extra Dim Sum for breakfast which we did. With all of the things to see and do and stories to hear, this pretty much filled the evening.
