Day 1: San Francisco Bay Area - Sacramento - Wendover
Stop At: California State Capitol Museum, 1315 10th St Room B-27, Sacramento, CA 95814-4905
Departing from San Francisco Bay Area, we will head towards the Sacramento, where we will visit the California State Capitol.
In the afternoon head through the famous Donner Pass and enter Nevada – nicknamed the Silver State.
Overnight stay in Wendover.

Day 2: Wendover - Great Salt Lake - Casper
Stop At: Great Salt Lake, Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Driving through the Great Salt Lake in the morning, the saline lake covers an area of around 1,700 square miles, but is subject to substantial fluctuations.
Along the Emigration Canyon into Echo Canyon, we will visit the once traveled Oregon Trail. The highlights of the trail also includes: the historical landmarks of Independence Rock, Devil's Gate.

Day 3: Casper - Crazy Horse Memorial - Mount Rushmore - Devil's Tower National Monument - Gillette
Stop At: Mount Rushmore National Memorial, 13000 Hwy 244, Keystone, SD 57751-4403
We will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial in the morning. You will witness the world's largest mountain sculpture in progress.
Then we will visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, a monumental granite sculpture by Gutzon Borglum.
After that, we will continue to Devil's Tower National Monument.

Day 4: Gillette – Yellowstone National Park
Stop At: Yellowstone National Park, WY
Today, we will pass by the Little Bighorn Battlefield and learn about how General George Custer and his forces were defeated by Sioux warriors on 25 June 1876.
In the afternoon, we will visit Yellowstone National Park, the first and oldest National Park in the United States. Highlights include: Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls, Mammoth Hot Springs, etc.
Over night stay in West Yellowstone.

Day 5: Yellowstone National Park – Grand Teton National Park – Salt Lake City
Stop At: Grand Teton National Park, WY
We will continue to visit Yellowstone National Park today: the Old Faithful Geyser, and Rainbow Pool.
Then we will go to Grand Teton National Park. The tallest peak rises to 13,770 feet. Twelve of the peaks in Teton reach above 12,000 feet and support a dozen mountain glaciers.
In the afternoon visit the state of Wyoming and visit the western town of Jackson Hole. Arches made of elk antlers decorate the central plaza in this town with plenty of shops and restaurants around the area.

Day 6: Salt Lake City – Bonneville Salt Flats – Reno
Stop At: Bonneville Salt Flats, Interstate 80, Wendover, UT 84083
Today we will visit Utah State Capitol Building and Temple Square.
Then, we will travel to Bonneville Salt Flats, a land of thick crust of salty soil. It looks like a magical wonderland covered with snow.
After that, we will arrive in Reno in the afternoon, the city known as "The Biggest Little City in the World", is the birthplace of the gaming corporation Harrah's Entertainment.

Day 7: Reno - Virginia City - Lake Tahoe - Bay Area
Stop At: Lake Tahoe, CA
In the morning, we will leave Reno for Virginia City, a national historical landmark district, where the discovery of Comstock lode in 1859 turned the town into a hustling and bustling site.
Then, we will head towards the beautiful Lake Tahoe bordering Nevada and California. The clear blue water surrounded by majestic mountains will take your breath away.
We will head back to the Bay Area in the afternoon.
