About this activity
You will be picked up from your hotel in San Ignacio in the morning and head towards a riding farm. From the farm, you will ride for an hour under pristine jungle canopies to the Flower's Cave. See a magnificent view from the top of a small Mayan temple, then ride to cave. Spend an hour or two touring the few chambers of the cave, see the broken pottery pieces left by cave robbers, magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, while visiting with the spirits of ancient Mayan people who lived in these caves. Afterwards you will return to Farm to enjoy a freshly made lunch. After lunch, jump in a canoe and paddle down to San Ignacio Town on the Beautiful Macal River for 3 to 4 hours, depending on your experience.
