Are you an outdoor enthusiast, gardener, or foodie that wants a better understanding of how little pollinators work their magic? Looking for a GREAT gift? Come learn what all the buzz is about :)
This is a fun opportunity to get inside and inspect a busy beehive. You'll get the chance to explore the complex and beautiful makeup of our sweet little friends.
First, we’ll suit up in protective gear. Then we’ll head to the PurrFect Honey Apiary where you'll learn about the art of beekeeping and the various tools that are used. Now it's time to open and inspect a hive. Hold a frame covered with 100's of bees ... a great photo opp! Find Drones, Workers, Brood and hopefully the Queen Bee. Press your finger into the comb and taste the freshest honey you've ever had... yum! :)
Finally, we’ll gather in our pollinator-friendly garden for a delicious honey tasting.
This tour is contagious and often sparks the flame to adopt a hive or plant a lovely pollinator-friendly garden of your own. At the end you'll get a jar of our very own locally harvested PurrFect Honey! Bring a friend, your spouse, or a first date! Guaranteed to be fun, educational, and with lots of great photo opps to boot.
