We had a clear day to see the Volcano crater and we saw lots of crocodiles, birds, monkeys and iguanas on the river cruise. Our guide Mauricio was kind and did the tour in both English and Spanish having had a mixed group of English and Spanish speakers. However, he did cater more to the Spanish speakers. After having been on several tours this week, we wished Mauricio had been more animated and explained more than just the basics.

Great viewing of natural treasures of CR. Especially the boat ride cutting through the rain forest. The attitude of the tour guide was too pompous and annoying. We had to practically seek information out of him through relentless questions. He forgot that these are fun trips and he has a role to play to make these entertaining.

I was cautious because this was new on trip adviser. The guides were excellent and the day was wonderful. We saw lots of wild life and ate some good food. I recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see a lot of the beautiful country in one day.
