Figure Drawing Art Class in a Beautiful Mansion

Class
About this activity
Itinerary
All materials provided! Unless of course you are an intermediate or advanced traveler bringing along your own watercolors etc.
We'll begin with an introduction and from the top (of the mansion!) and make our way down to the Studio, the Studio Caracol.
We'll have a live model with a repertoire of dynamic poses but we'll always begin with short poses where we'll focus on capturing the simple tried and true 'gesture' of the poses. I'll break it down into elemental steps and shapes. From there we'll move on to longer and longer poser, shifting and amplifying our attention on several key points of the human figure to consider and better articulate our drawings bit by bit. We'll keep it fun, relaxed, have music, and serve ample amounts of coffee, tea, and or mezcal. I'll discuss the various ways in which we can use our materials at hand. * I intend to host small classes in order to truly give each one of you my full attention and get to know each other better. There's something here for every level of experience. From the complete beginner that simply wants to dive into a new experience to the veteran artist looking to keep their eyes fresh and working while traveling abroad!
