Horseback Riding and Ranch Visit Combo Tour from San Miguel de Allende

About this activity
Have breakfast first on the ranch to start the riding in Canyon
You will first begin with a great horseback riding adventure where you will have a chance to explore the canyon. Then, you will get off your horse and do some hiking to remote places where the horses cannot access and, if the weather abides, having a nice swim in the river! After reach the edge of the canyon and begin a 40 minute descent to the bottom of the canyon where there are a winding river. Crossing at several points is very exciting and fun. Fantastic views. Gallops oportunities to do so. Half-way through stop for a short break in order to do a little bit of hiking and search for quartz filled geodes, or to simply relax along the edge of the river and take some fantastic photographs. After this continue on the trusty steeds up-and-out of the canyon until reaching it's spectacular cliffs. Make a pause on our horses in order to take some incredible photos.
Come back to the ranch to lunch organic ranch-style and authentic mexican meals as freshly hand-made tortillas, organic cheese, beans, quesadillas, nopales (cactus), rice, salad, guacamole...
Start activities in the afternoon. These include cow milking and cheese-making. You'll also be able to visit and see the various farm animals (goats, sheep, pigs, chicks, bunnies, turkeys, calves, etc), take roping lessons, cattle-herding and top off the tour with a delicious campfire meal.
