The tour was exciting, informative, delicious and just a tremendous groove, with Leslie, an American expat who shares the history of SMA with passion! How could this tour have been better? I can't imagine.
This was my favorite of the 2 food tours we did with Vail. The food was great in all of the locations and the tequila was too! I highly recommend any tour with Vail!
This was a fun tour. First stop tacos were seared tuna instead of what was listed, and I don't eat raw fish anywhere, but everyone else seemed to enjoy them. Along the way the last food stop was a street stand, and being a little cautious about street food I didn't eat this taco either, but the ones I had at other stops were tasty. The tequila and mezcal drinks were good, and the bartenders were flexible with special requests. The tour guide was knowledgeable about San Miguel and she led the walk at a good pace considering one participant used a cane. There were ten people in all, a friendly group, so it was a fun evening.
