Itinerary

Day 1: Calama/ San Pedro De Atacama

Stop At: Airport El Loa Calama, Calama, Antofagasta Region, Chile
At the appropriate time, you will be picked up from Calama airport and will be driven to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama (shared service).

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta Region, Chile
Upon arrival to your hotel in San Pedro, you’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy on your own.

Duration: 7 hours

Day 2: San Pedro De Atacama - Half-Day Altiplanics Lagoons

Stop At: Laguna Chaxa, Reserna Nacional los Flamencos, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
After a morning pick-up at your hotel, you will head to Los Flamencos National reserve to visit Chaxa lagoon (entrance fee is not included), where you’ll get to see flamingos in the wild and migratory birds. After taking some pictures, you will enjoy a picnic-style breakfast.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Iglesia de Socaire, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
Your next stop will be at the small village of Socaire (located at 3,500 masl), where you’ll have some minutes to admire its church (historical heritage) and learn about its agriculture.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Lagunas Altiplanicas, Current posted hours are 10am - 6pm in Summer and Winter, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
Afterwards, you will be driven towards the Altiplanic lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques (entrance fee is not included), which have waters of an intense-blue color fed by underground rivers. The lagoons are located at 4,200 masl and surrounded by the Andes Mountain Range and the Meñiques Volcano.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Campanario de San Lucas, Toconao Chile
On your way back you’ll visit Toconao village and its church of the eighteenth century.
After getting back to your hotel, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon free to do as you wish.

Day 3: San Pedro De Atacama - Half-Day Tatio Geysers with Machuca & Moon Valley

Stop At: Geyser del Tatio, 174a Caracoles, San Pedro de Atacama 1410000 Chile
After an early morning pick-up, you’ll head out to visit the beautiful geothermal field (4,320masl), where you’ll experience one of the most astonishing phenomena produced by nature. There, you will get to take the most amazing pictures as you walk through the paths along its field. Soon after that, you will enjoy a picnic-style breakfast. On this tour, you will also have the opportunity to swim in the public pools of The Tatio spring waters, so it’s important that you don’t forget to bring your swimwear and towel. On your scenic drive back, you will also make a short stop at Machuca village and Rio Putana bofedal (wetlands). You will return to San Pedro around 12.30 p.m. and will have some free time to enjoy lunch on your own.

Stop At: Reserva Nacional de Flamencos, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
In the afternoon, you will depart to explore one of the world’s driest and most hostile zones of the world: the Atacama Desert. Located inside the Flamencos National Reserve, the Valle de la Luna houses a set of landscapes of incomparable beauty that resembles a fragment of the lunar landscape, to which it owes its name.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Valle De La Luna, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
There, you will get to visit the Salt Mountain Range, will admire the landscape from different spots and will also visit the salt caves and the “Tres Marias”, sculptures carved by nature. For the perfect closure, you will admire the dusk on the Great Dune, from where you will be able to see the Andes, the Domeyko mountain range and Salt mountain range. This tour will start and end at our operator’s office located in the downtown area.

Day 4: San Pedro De Atacama/ Calama
