Itinerary
Day 1: Calama, Moon Valley and San Pedro de Atacama
Stop At: Church of San Pedro de Atacama, Central Square, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
Reception at the airport. Travel in exclusive vehicle. In an hour and a half we arrive at the Cordillera de la Sal and at the Moon Valley, until sunset with an aperitif. Arrival in San Pedro and in Hotel.
Distance: 150km by road and light walk in the desert.

Day 2: Rainbow Valley, Petroglyphs and Pueblo Rio Grande
Stop At: Church of San Pedro de Atacama, Central Square, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
We start at 8.00am towards the cordillera de Domeyko, in 45 minutes we are in Hierbas Buenas (millenarian petroglyphs site).
Shortly after, we take the Canyon of Matancillas, and go into the canyon colored with minerals with strong contrasts. The domeyko remains at 3500 meters, as a parallel balcony, in front of the andes. The property offers stunning views in a remote natural environment and different from the desert and the Andes. If we continue to enter the Rio Grande valley, we find the pueblo of Santiago of Rio Grande. Very isolated little oasis, where the road ends.

Return approximately at 3.00pm. Distance: 150km by road, dirt road with river ford. Light walks at high altitude.
At 9pm "Night with the Stars"
We are waiting for you at the agency for the start of the two-hour Astronomical Tour. Transfer to place outside San Pedro. Hot drinks and snacks are served.
Vision of the night sky and explanation of orientation and Andean astronomy.
Return around 11.30pm to the hotel.

Day 3: The salt of the earth
Stop At: Salar de Atacama, Antofagasta Chile
We start at 8.00am. Visit to Salar de Atacama (Laguna Chaxa), Lagunas Altiplanicas (Miscanti and Meñiques), Salar de Talar (Piedras Rojas) and Tuyasto. Also visit to the pueblos of Tocanao and Socaire, where it includes lunch in a tavern.
Return at 5.00pm.
Distance: 350km by road and dirt road. Light walks at high altitude.
Trekking shoes are recommended.

Day 4: Salar de Tara
Stop At: Salar de Tara, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
We start at 8.00-8.30am. Carretera Panoramica at Paso Jama (Argentina), Salar de Pujsa, 4,800 meter mountain pass and descent towards Monjes de la Pacana and salar Aguas Calientes. We take a track on a vast plateau of sand and fine gravel, for an hour until the arrival at the Salar di Tara. Lunch picnic on the lagoon and walk to its surroundings.
Return approximately at 4.00-5.00pm.
Distance: 250km Light walks at high altitude.
Trekking shoes are recommended.

Day 5: Full-day Termas, Tatio, Pueblos Atacameños and transfer airport
Stop At: Geyser del Tatio, 174a Caracoles, San Pedro de Atacama 1410000 Chile
Departure at 8.30am with suitcases. At 9am we are at the spa, for a relaxing bath in 8 natural pools, cascading in the deep canyon.
Around 11am we continue towards the Tatio. Panoramic view of the plateau. Arrival at the Tatio around 12.30 and visit of the geothermal field.
Continue towards the ancient pueblo atacameños of the river Loa: Caspana, Chiu Chiu (where we have lunch) and the fortress of Lasana.
Arrive in Calama around 5pm, climb up the street that allows a view from above of Calama, and its impressive mines. And then transfer to the airport for your return flight.
